Rob Lockey

Rob Lockey is an honors graduate of Metropolitan State College of Denver with a BA degree in Human Performance and Sport. The degree includes an emphasis in Adult Fitness and Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. This career-path evolved from a life-long passion for sports and competition, including cross-country running, track, duathalons and cycling. His ability to communicate complex theory and motivation to individual results with his clients allows Rob to choose a career that matches his passion and education.

After a year as a coach with The Colorado Center for Altitude Training and Performance expanding his competencies in testing, training and coaching, Rob started his own business, Optimize Endurance Services.

Hobbies
Rob enjoys traveling worldwide and competitive mountain bike racing. Both are shared and supported by his wife, Elaine.

Athletics
Rob most recently finished his sixteenth year racing mountain bikes. His personal goal for 2011 was to complete the Breck-Epic (six day stage race) which he did on a SingleSpeed and placed fourth. 2012 was filled with training in preparation for the Rocky Mountain Endurance Series in which he place fourth in the series (including a 3rd in SS for the B-100), Bailey Hundo in 8hrs, USAC Nationals with an 8th in SS and working with the OES/BikeSource MTB team.
