2012 Denver Triathlon Training Plan


The Denver Triathlon is Denver's first urban triathlon. Test your talents against the Mile High City. The swim will take place at Sloan's Lake. The bike will carry athletes Down historic Colfax Ave before ending at transition two staged outside of Invesco Field at Mile high Stadium where the run heads North up the South Platte River Trail before returning to Mile High Stadium for an amazing finish line and post race celebration!

Make the best of it with a training plan built for the event. The 2012 Denver Triathlon training plans for purchase are designed to guide anyone from a relatively new triathlete to the experienced in completing the Sprint or Olympic distances.

OES provides these plans via TrainingPeaks (Peaksware), an on-line interface for coach and client with upload capabilities of training data for graphing as well as journaling and nutrition tracking.

12 week Beginner Sprint Denver Triathlon $125.00-Kim Boere USAT L1/CSCS User should be able to exercise 4-7 hours per week.  Should be able to demonstrate basic swimming skills as well as basic bike handling skills.  Running is not a prerequisite.  This plan is great for a first timer or a beginner with a couple of races under their belt looking to improve their race time.  This plan is based on the course for the Denver Triathlon which includes a .5 mile swim, 14 mile bike, 3.1 mile run.

12 week Expert Sprint for The Denver Triathlon $125.00-Kim Boere USAT L1/CSCS User should be able to exercise 6-8 hours per week.  Should be experienced with strong swimming skills as well as longer bike and running workouts. This plan is great for a seasoned sprint triathlete that wants to improve time or even strive to place in their age group.  This plan is based on the course for the Denver Triathlon which includes a .5 mile swim, 14 mile bike, 3.1 mile run.

12 week Beginner Olympic Denver Triathlon $125.00-Kim Boere USAT L1/CSCS This plan is designed for the first time triathlete or inexperienced triathlete that wants to improve their race time. This program requires user to be able to exercise 7-12 hours per week.  Users of this plan should possess basic swimming, bike handling and running skills.  This plan is based on the course for the Denver Triathlon Olympic Distance which includes a .93 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run.
